Marble and Bronze Floating Coffee Table after Alberto and Diego Giacometti
Marble and bronze coffee table, with gorgeous patina. Attributed to Philip and Kelvin LaVerne and the works of Diego and Alberto Giacometti. A substantial Carrara marble slab that floats above 4 bronze legs. The legs show great texture and a verdi gris patina. This table is also attributed to Forms and Surfaces and Pepe Mendoza. A truly unique piece we have not come across before. Illegibly signed on the bottom believed to read "74 ?Di7? #7 Othello".
Dimensions: 52 3/4" wide. Table surface is 24" deep and overall depth is 27". Table surface height is 15.5" and the legs extend to a height of 17.5".
Condition: Vintage condition. Some surface scratches as pictured. The marble is a tight fit in the bronze legs and there are some chips and cuts to the marble to seat within the legs.
