In my latest work, I bring together the playful, quirky nature of my “Hairy Fools” characters with the energy of the ocean, creating a fun surf series that captures the balance between excitement and calm. Growing up in Southern California, the ocean has always been a big part of my life. Surfing became more than just a hobby—it’s a symbol of life’s ups and downs, something both thrilling and peaceful.

This piece features one of my signature Hairy characters riding a wave, set against a bold, colorful sunset. The vibrant colors and textures bring a sense of joy and movement, while the scene reflects my ongoing exploration of nature, motion, and human expression. Through this series, I want to invite viewers into a playful world where reality and imagination mix, reminding us of the joy in every moment, no matter what wave we’re on.
