A brutalist white oak 1970’s dining table Designed by Henning Kjaernulf, well-renowned for his iconic farmhouse-inspired carved oak furniture designs, c. 1970s. Three leaves allow this circular dining table to extend from 47.25” diameter to a max length of 106”.
Finely crafted with solid quarter sawn oak frames and carved legs. A handsome balance of traditional antique inspiration with a Scandinavian Modern twist.
Unmarked. No apparent labels.
Dimensions: 29 7/8” High x 47.25” diameter with three 19.75” leaves. Total width with all three leaves in is 106” wide.
Condition: The table with even patina to the oak and finish. Two darker water rings. One leaf in solid oak with a matching apron and closely matching tone. The other two leaves without aprons and in oak veneer with a darker tone do to light exposure over the east 50 years.
