An extremely rare and elegant snack table designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar furniture in the 1960s. Tripod brass capped feet, with a sculpted solid walnut stem culminate with a mosaic tile top surface featuring 16 tiles made by Otto and Gertrud Natzler. The tiles in a Pompeian orange glaze. The volcanic red orange in the glaze with natural imperfections blisters and pockmarks. Labelled with brass Dunbar rectangular label underneath the top.
Condition: Walnut recently refinished. Brass showing some patina and scratches commensurate with the age of the piece. No cracked tiles. Some grout missing between tiles but all tiles are secured. This is a 70 year old piece so some wear and tear is expected.
Dimensions: 23.25" High by 14" square base. Tile top is 9"x9".
