1960s Mid Century Modern Iron Slipper Chair Attributed to Adrian Pearsall
A rare Adrian Pearsall style slipper chair attributed to Adrian Pearsall. Purchased from a Pennsylvania estate filled with early Adrian Pearsall iron chairs and a sofa. This design has continued to baffle dealers. Definite age, similar crude welds to the iron pieces made in the Pearsall basement. Consisting of iron, and has the same ball feet as all the other Pearsall iron pieces. A fun chair with similar vibes to Jean Royere. Would work well paired with French designs from Charlotte Perriand or Prouve, as well as with designs from Edward Wormley, Robsjohn Gibbings and Harvey Probber. Unmarked.
