A very early example in original pumpkin colored leather.This is a fine example with a beautiful and expressive rosewood grain. The leather is original and worn in like a baseball glove. This example has 3 screw holes under the arms as well as boot glides on the ottoman dating it to the second or third year of production 1957-1958. A great survivor.

Condition:

4 new shock mounts from Hume Modern added November 2023 to ensure stability. No drill holes. Original leather shows cracking and some small tears. Leather is kept original as it is usable and comfortable to sit in. Down filled cushions. Rosewood in great shape with some tiny flea bites to high edges of veneer but nothing egregious for a 70 year old chair. Some scratches to the chrome base commensurate with age and use.
