A pair of model 400 ½ chairs designed by Finn Juhl and produced by Baker circa 1950s. Finn Juhl originally designed these chairs as model 48 chairs produced by cabinet maker Niels fodder in 1948. Baker licensed these chairs to be produced in the United States to exact specifications in the 1950s with solid sculpted American walnut frames.

Marked with model number to frame under seat.

Dimensions: 27” W x 25” D x 32” H x 18” Seat Height

Condition: New leather, sanded and oiled walnut frames. Frames were once bleached so there are a few specks of white paint int he grain in areas, hardly noticeable. New brass hardware for backs.
