1970s De Sede DS 169 Leather Sleeper Sofa by Ernst Ambühler
The iconic DS 169 Sofa for De Sede circa 1970’s Switzerland. Designed by Ernst Ambühler, this sofa quickly folds back and converts in to a double bed. An extremely comfortable and versatile sofa ideal for an apartment, study or den. Similar in stye and function to the Anfibio sofa designed by Alessandro Becchi and would work well with pieces like ligne roset togo sofas.
Dimensions: 79.25” wide x 24.75” high x 37” deep Seat height 16.5” 45.5” deep fully laid down.
Condition: Wear and patina to the leather cushion and frame. No cuts. High spots and corners with wear. Original decking replaced but retained some of the original label. New zipper dust cover for the cushion.
