A 1960s Nessen Studio of New York Lamp in solid Carrara marble and chrome stem. The solid marble base with deep grey and purple veining is extremely heavy and a contrast to the visually light chrome stem. Two sockets individually con trolled by pull strings allow for ample light when needed or soft light in the later hours. Iconic New York design. This lamp would work well with designs form Edward Wormley, Vladimir Kagan, T.H. Robsjohn Gibbings and Harvey Probber. Shade included.
