A vintage rosewood shore bird, perched on a live edge wood pedestal. The shorebird can pivot on the dowel to face in different directions. Rosewood is a protected species and was banned from importation in to the United States in the late 1970s and early 1980s. A sleek profile with an even prettier wood variety. The shape and lines reminiscent of Emil Milan, purchased from an estate with a large Emil Milan totem sculpture. Unsigned.
